About The Creator

The "creator" of the website is Bob Davies. He grew up in Wales and arrived in the Bahamas in 1989 as a P.E. Teacher. He lived in Freeport, Grand Bahama until 2000 when he left to live in the Turks and Caicos Islands. He taught at West End All Age School until 1998, when he transfered to Freeport Primary School. Bob lived at the Freeport Rugby Club for nine years and was heavily involved in sports on the island. He is married to a Bahamian Gal, and has two beautiful Bahamian daughters.

The majority of these photographs and postcards were collected when he lived in the Bahamas. He recently dusted them off to show his family and decided it was time to share them with anybody else who was interested. He hopes you enjoy them.
